Gary Black joins me (Fernando) as a true ‘camarada’.
We both though in a topic related to our current global social affairs, and more specifically with the current proposed project of building a wall between Mexico and the USA.
Title of the work: ‘la nueva division’
 ('The new division')

The scope of the work is a photograph made by Gary entitled ‘Brick Mac’ and a Painting made by Fernando, entitled ‘Big & beautiful’.

Both works depicting the wall as a concept in the current social concerns.

​In this exhibition we want to show what best represents humanity. How do we show we are human beings with the ability to think, feel, communicate, express, live?
What makes us human beings? What is our real value to the world? Who are we to the other? What makes us realize and appreciate our own humanity?
 
This exhibition does not aim to answer the question: 'Where is your humanity?', since for each of us the answer is different. But we want to pose the question with visitors about themselves.
